This would be a surprise for my sister and I! Long story short, she deserves all and any kind of recognition. She graduated high school, went straight into a 4 year, then straight into law school. While she was in her second year of law school, she was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma. While battling cancer, she married her best friend Kyle. Soon after, still in law school she had to get a stem cell transplant which required her to stay in a cancer medical facility for over 30 days, away from family and friends. (Again, all while in law school. Fast forward, to after the transplant, they told her and her husband, she had a 20% chance of being able to have children, due to the transplant putting my sister into menopause. In 2022, my sister celebrated 1 year in remission. During this time she started the IBF process. (She had her eggs frozen.) in May of 2022 she found out that she was pregnant, (naturally!) not with one, but two twin girls! These beautiful baby girls were born October 3rd, 2022, at 28 weeks and 5 days. They stayed in the NICU until November 13th. Charlie (baby A) came home first and a few days later, Delilah, (baby b.) My sister, her husband and the twins are doing amazing, healthy and happy. Again, my sister deserves all the recognition, she is one hell of a human!
