Dora moved to the village of Mapapa in 2019 with her adopted kids. She came to the village with a friend while waiting for her visa and that’s when she saw that the village kids had no school. She helped build a school, a safe house, helped provide meals and so much more. She is very courageous to stand up to people in the village who harm the children. She is always making sure the the village kids are provided with better care. She teaches, advocates and is very selfless. She is truly a hero in my eyes. I admire her strength. What she does is not always easy. We need more people like Dora.
