By sterilizing and returning these cats to their natural habitat, Diane has provided them with a better life and prevented the cycle of reproduction and abandonment
When I met Dianne I was beyond frustrated and approaching despair. Four liters of 4 kittens were born to 4 different feral cats on July 1st 2023. Neighbors complained about the cats b4 this. As the kittens grew so did the neighbors' rage. They began threatening harm to the kittens. And the people who fed them
This increased to actions intended to force the cat's out. When bloody paw prints were on the sidewalk it became clear these animals are in danger.
Countless days desperate to find someone to help with the growing cat population failed.
All over the valley kittens were born. Everyone was on wait lists.
. Then this petite woman showed up Holding a heavy trap almost as big as she was. She asked me some questions and I cried to her about the animals not trusting me blah blah. She patiently listened and agreed with me that she wishes she could explain to the frightened cat she's helping them. She stood in the 100 degree heat scooping salmon into the cage. When she had the male cat she left. He was back next day. She continued doing this for weeks until they were all fixed. I had thought she was an organization and an agency I left a message with somewhere along the line.
I assumed she was provided funding to pay for her transportation and the vet bills & surgeries . 2 hours ago I learned she doesn't belong to an organization. She does this on her own. She also paid for this herself. She never complained or mentioned money ..
I'm going to try to find a way to reimburse her .At get funding for the future. .
Dianne deserves to be recognized for her excellence in the community and involvement. One cat at a time she's changing the world to be a better place for the cats and for usshe's
