Cynthia is a true philanthropist she gives back to her community every single moment of her life and to her family. She is the CEO of Advanced Independence and a non-profit owner. Cynthia started a 5k run in honor of one of her clients that passed a few years ago. Cynthia visits the elderly on her off days. Cynthia cares for two clients she assists them as live ins in her home in order to provide them a comfortable life in a positive loving environment. Cynthia visits the shut in just to show love on her down time as well she cooks meals and takes it to those in need. The non profit organization was created in order to help the clients in her day program at AI be able to be more independent through sponsored programs and grants donated to her non profit. So far no major grants or sponsors have supported her non profit so she gives to the program from her own pockets. As well giving them the opportunity to enjoy sporting events and special event outings and jobs in the community. Cynthia gives to anyone who needs her. She’s never missed an appointment with her best friend Belinda whose fighting cancer and it’s been almost 17 years of battling. I believe Belinda keeps fighting harder because the love of her friend Cynthia. Cynthia is loyal, reliable, dependable. Caring, and honorable. Cynthia is a true guardian angel. Cynthia even took in four of her nieces and nephews and raised them as her own children to help her family member. She started AI because she was inspired through raising her nephew who deals with mental delays and challenges. She realized she has the patience and compassion it takes to help those that others will give up on.
