Presidential aspirant and Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, reformed the civil service, reducing corruption, and improving state infrastructure.He reformed the state government, from the waste management system to financial mismanagement within the public sector. He took steps to improve incentives for civil servants, including salary increases, improving quality and hygiene of working environments, and teaching investment principles and how to work toward home ownership.His payroll-system reforms removed thousands of ghost workers from the system.
He spearheaded the good governance that Lagos state is known for today.
He established 5 additional general hospitals in the state.
He provided free healthcare services including free ante-natal care for women, free eye treatments and free glasses.
He supported youths in his admistration and he is not a regional bias politician, he welcomed all intellectual and intelligent people to his cabinet in respect of their state origin, people like Fashola who later became his successor,Aregbesola,Ambode and even an igbo guy is currently a state honourable without discrimination, all credits to his ideals,workplan and principles to govern and make Nigeria a united republic and not allowing tribal/region sentiments.
He turned Lagos from a federal dependent revenue to a self revenue generating state, making Lagos the only state in Nigeria that can stand on its own without the federal government revenue, all credits to his blueprint.
He is such an awesome personality.
